Our history
Our journey began with Chieftek Precision Co., a renowned name in precision engineering. As we expanded into worldwide markets, the need to serve Europe better became evident. Thus, cpc Europe was established. Follow our evolution from a promising start to our present position as a leading force in the industry, all aimed at delivering top-quality linear motion solutions to our European clients.
1998 – Founding cpc
Chieftek Precision Co. was established in Taiwan. This year marks the beginning of our journey in precision engineering.
2000 – MR Series
The production of miniature guide series MR began, expanding our product range.
2005 – Tainan
Our manufacturing facility was established in the Tainan Science Park, further enhancing production capabilities.
2007 – ARC/HRC Series
Production started of ISO 9001:2000 certified ARC/HRC series ball type standard size linear guides.
2008 – cpc Global
Expansion into the USA and China with cpc USA and cpc Kunshan. Introduction of the ironless linear motor P series.
2010 – cpc Europe
cpc Europa GmbH was established and ISO 9001:2008 certification was achieved.
2013 – Wide ball guides
Introduction of wide ball type linear guide production.
2014 – New products
Introduction of the ironcore linear motor C series, CLS compact linear motor stage series and ARR/HRR/LRR linear guide series.
2015 – Mass production
Mass production of the Will1 AC linear motor servo driver and CLMS core type linear motor stage.
2017 – ISO
Presentation of innovative products at TIMTOS. Recognition in corporate governance assessments and ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015 certifications.
2018 – Recognition
Recognition with the “Top 5000 Largest Corporations in Taiwan 2018” award, highlighting our manufacturing prominence.
2019 – Mass production
Initiation of mass production of size 2 miniature linear guides. Recognition with the “Top 2000 Largest Corporations in Taiwan 2019” award.
2020 – Compliance
Successful transition to ISO 45001:2018 and CSN 45001:2018 Taiwan Health and Safety Management System.
2021 – cpc Robots
Launch of cpc Robot miniature 6-axis robotic arms and cpc Studio software PLC/IDE platform. cpcRobot’s Gold Medal at the 2021 LEAP Awards in the USA.
